Leadership structure
First Baptist Church Brampton leadership is by a membership board governing body of its congregation. Memberships are accepted by baptism, transfer of membership, or acceptance by experience if the candidate was once Baptist and church no longer operational. After meeting with the Pastor and Board of Deacons and by recommendation from the Deacons, the candidates are presented to the congregation members for acceptance by a vote by the majority to become members.

Chair of Christian Education
The Board of Christian Education. The Board is responsible for the Church’s general educational program and all ministries and programs and for ensuring that the proper training programs are available for the various ministries. The board’s objective is to increase missionary knowledge, interest and giving through the church, community, and Sunday school in the various outreach programs

Lead Pastor
The Pastor is the shepherd and the spiritual leader of the flock (the congregation). The Pastor’s primary roles are preaching, teaching, and spiritually guiding all members and congregation representatives to a stronger relationship with Christ Jesus. The Pastor visits the sick and shut-in and performs weddings and funeral services based on church availability and scheduling. The Pastor is a member of all Boards

Chair of Deacon’s Board
The Board of Deacons The primary role is to assist the Pastor in the spiritual and temporal oversight of the Church. They have the authority to decide upon the character of all meetings held in the church buildings or in the name of the Church. The Deacons must serve at the Lord’s table and participate in visitation, supervise the Church’s interest, cooperate with and generally assist the Pastor in his performance, and provide or arrange pulpit supplies. In the absence of the Pastor or in the event of the Church being pastorless, it shall be the duty of the deacons to make provision for the observance of the Lord’s Supper and arrange pulpit supplies.

Chair of Council
The Church Council comprises all chairs from the boards (Board of Deacons, Board of Christian Education, Board of Managers, and Board of Trustees) and the elected chair of the Council. The Board of Council’s responsibility is to guide the Church in a unified direction while ensuring that each of the Boards functions according to the Constitution and the By-laws are in an up-to-date form, which shall provide an effective organization with properly defined responsibilities.

Church clerk
The Church Clerk is the liaison between Canadian Baptist of Ontario and Quebec (CBOQ) headquarter and our Association. The Clerk maintains the record of membership and all Annual General Meeting record and other called church meetings

Chair of Board of Manager
The Board of Managers is elected annually and is responsible for maintaining the Church’s property and managing the approved budget received from the annual meeting.

Church Administrator
Church Administrator/Secretary: The Administrator/secretary is on site two to three days a week and is a point of contact assisting the Pastor during the week.

EnvelopE Secretary
The Envelope Secretary is responsible to ensure that those who requires tax receipts, receive them by CRA deadline and that the forms are submitted to CRA. The Envelope secretary provides all envelopes annually to manage and recording giving to the church.

Music Director
The Choir Director is responsible for special music, leading and directing the Choir and playing during service. The Choir director is available to service during special events such as weddings or funeral if available
