First Baptist Church Brampton is a rich part of the history of the City of Brampton. In 1856 Brampton becomes a village with a population of 1000 and First Baptist Church also had a present in this village. The church was build in 1876 in it current location at the corner of Main and Wellington to be the home to a growing Baptist congregation. In June 1876 the Church opened with Reverend E. J. Stobos as minister.
